From the start Health & Benefits Partners is here to help and insure you stay compliant:

 

  • Determine Insurance Needs and Options Available
  • Provide options for ancillary products (life, disability, 401K, retirement planning, etc.)
  • Insure ACA Compliance to assist in determining employee affordability and employer penalties (including PCORI administration and 1095 if necessary – there could be an extra cost for vendors)
  • Develop Comparison Quotations for Insurance Options
  • Summary Plan Description (SPD) distribution
  • Summary Benefit Coverage (SBC) distribution

 

We want to help get your organization and your employee on-board quickly and without any problems.   To do that we offer:

  • Employee Enrollment Meetings
  • Coordinate the Collection of Enrollment Information
  • Employee Individualized Personal Insurance Plan – Traditional only available to companies with large HR departments
  • Pay Rate Calculations - Payroll Information provided to your payroll vendor

Once you are on-board, we are hear to help you with your on-going administration.   We act as your HR Insurance Department for you firm, at no cost to you organization:

  • COBRA Administration for Terminated/Departed Employees at no cost to client
  • Sec 125 Premium Only Plan (POP) Administration at no cost to client
  • Act as your HR Insurance Department for your firm
  • Handle Employee Claims and Billing Administration
  • Handle Employer Claims and Billing Administration
  • Ongoing customer support which includes, but not limited to, employee addition, termination, and adjustments, we talk with the carriers, so you don’t have to.
  • General Administration of a group health plan and ancillary benefits
  • Assist with Aging into Medicare

At the end of each year we help you review the year and get setup for the upcoming year:

  • Initial Renewal meeting scheduled for 60-90 days prior to renewal
  • Assist with Employee Premium Contribution Analysis – 0-60 days prior to renewal date
  • Employee Enrollment Meeting – 0-30 days prior to renewal
  • Pricing Review - we will shop out at least one other carrier to reflect best pricing

This engagement requires involvement by both organizations.  Ultimate success is highly dependent on our joint efforts.  It is the organization’s responsibility to:

  • Notify us timely of any addition and termination (no more than 60 days)
  • Respond to emails and calls timely as they relate to compliance information and assistance with filings
  • Provide organization census information during initial consultation and renewal periods, as needed.
